2015 School Year Kickoff!

The crisp air of fall is beginning to fill the air as we kicked off the first week of the 2015-2016 school year at Covenant Christian School! Between the Spokane and Moses Lake Campuses we had over 115 students. Praise the Lord! This has been the greatest school kick off in our school’s history. The first week has included new paces, student testing and lots of basketball and gaga ball! The Spokane campus opened a new classroom this year to accommodate more students. Shiny new tile floors in the hallway and bathrooms were added to the Moses Lake Campus over the summer. Ed MacDonald graciously donated the time and materials to do a large number of projects at the Moses Lake campus over the summer including the floors! Thank you Ed! Beautiful new carpet was also installed in many of the classrooms at the Spokane campus.  The Moses Lake campus also had amazing enrollment by adding an additional 15+ new students to the school. We could not be more happy with our Christian school!

After our incredible finish to the last school year which included a fantastic regional convention and an unforgettable national convention at which Karis Peters gave a command performance of her poetry recitation which later went viral, this school year is kicking off with an even greater energy and excitement! This is the first start of school with our new Moses Lake Campus Pastor, Seth Haberman, and our new Moses Lake School Principal, Alecia Stanley. The combined staff between Spokane and Moses lake is the greatest and most dedicated staff we have ever had!

At Covenant Church, Christian Education is our passion. Through our school we are preparing our children to be strong in their faith in Christ, academic performance and character. By having our kids in the school, we are raising up the next generation to propel the church forward and to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. We encourage all church members and school families to pour into the lives of the students by participating and volunteering in the school. If you are interested in volunteering, you can contact Miss Valencia Peters or Miss Alecia Stanley.

Stay tuned for some exciting upcoming events and field trips for the fall quarter. Thank you all so much for supporting our school and pouring into the lives of these kids!
