There are several benefits to online giving for both you and Covenant Church.
- Security – Online giving is more secure than giving with a check since an electronic gift can’t be lost or stolen.
- Accuracy– by linking your online giving account to your database record, you can be assured that each online gift is posted directly to your church’s giving record eliminating the potential for manual posting errors.
- Helping Covenant Church – Online contributions require less processing from our administrative staff since the information is automatically linked to your donor record and deposited.

Q: Is it safe to give online?
Yes. In many ways giving online is safer than writing a check because an electronic gift cannot be lost or stolen. The security of the system is continually managed by our online provider, Fellowship One.
Q: What types of bank accounts can I give from?
You can give online from your bank account or via MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express.
Q: Will I pay any fees as a result of giving online?
No, you will not pay any fees with an online gift. In addition, online gifts are a more cost efficient way for us to process donations.
Q: Can I make a one-time contribution?
Yes. The system allows you the option of either making a one-time contribution or setting up a recurring contribution. For a one-time contribution, you can designate that the contribution be made immediately or you can schedule one-time or recurring contributions to come out of your bank account on the date(s) you specify.
Q: If I want to set-up a recurring gift, what are my options for frequency of my gift?
For recurring gifts, you have the option of giving weekly, monthly, twice a month or every two weeks.
Q: When will contributions be taken from my account?
Contributions will be debited from your specified bank account within 48 business hours of the date you requested. This allows time for the contribution to process through your bank and our bank. If the date of your contribution falls on a weekend or a holiday, the transaction will be initiated on the next banking day.
Q: Can I change my bank account information, the amount or the frequency of my gift once I have set it up?
Yes. You can change or cancel your contribution at any time before the date of your next contribution. Simply log in to the system using your user name and password and make the necessary changes in the system.
Q: Can I designate my gift to a particular cause?
Yes, your normal giving will be designated as Tithes & Offerings. However, we will also add special giving codes at specific times for special causes or projects. If you have any questions about the designation of your giving, contact email@example.com or our office at 509.924.8817.
Q: How will I know that I set up my gift correctly?
- Immediately after setting up your contribution, you will receive an e-mail verifying your entry.
- You will be able to see your first online gift in your giving history in about 7-10 days after setting up your account.
- After your account and history record are established, you will be able to see your gift immediately in your giving history.
Q: Will I be able to give to special church projects online?
Yes, you will be able to give to support any project or initiative during the times they are active.
Q. Can I use a debit card?
Yes, debit cards from your bank bearing a Visa or MasterCard logo may be used and will directly debit from your bank account. We cannot, however, process debit cards which require the use of a Personal Identification Number (PIN).
Q: Can I give by check online?
Yes, you can give via online check. If you’d like to write an online check, please Proceed to Online Giving.
If you’d like to write a paper check, please send it via mail or deliver it in person, or give during the offering time at one of our conferences or events.
Q: Can I review my donation history online?
Yes, you will be able to view the complete history of your contributions, given online and otherwise. Once you’ve created an account, you will be able to contribute immediately. However before you can see any past contributions, we must manually link your online account with your database record. This is a one-time process when you create your account requiring 7 to 10 days. After the link is established, you can view all of your giving history at any time. For more information, see our security policy.
Q: How long does it take for my donation history to post online for review?
When you first set up your online giving account, it will take 7-10 days for your giving to be linked to your church’s database record. You will immediately be able to review your gifts to Covenant Church in the online giving section of the website. Once your record is linked, all gifts will be posted and available immediately after your gift is received.
Q: Will I still receive regular contribution statements from Covenant Church?
You may receive a printed contribution statement mailed to your postal address from time to time. However, if you create an online giving account, you will have the opportunity to print or download a giving statement at any time for any date range within the current or previous year. If you ever need a printed statement sent to you, please contact our contributions department at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: Does it matter which Internet browser I use?
No. Any browser will work.
